Technical SEO Audit

We'll crawl up to 50 pages of your site and, using a transparent formula across crawling, content, link, image, structured data and security checks, give you a 0–100 technical SEO score, quick wins and steps to fix issues.

When you enter an address, the page is requested through the Enar SEO server, just like a browser would (because browsers' security rules prevent reading data from other sites directly). The fetched content and addresses are not stored; the analysis runs in your browser. The crawl respects robots.txt rules and requests at most 4 pages at a time to avoid straining the site.

Optional. Chooses which device the page is requested as. Google crawls most sites with its mobile crawler, so the default is Mobile; change it only if you want to see the desktop version as well.

How does the audit work?

  1. Enter the address and choose the number of pages. The crawl starts from the home page and follows internal links; if there's room left, it's topped up with pages from the sitemap. Pages blocked by robots.txt are not visited.
  2. Pages are fetched one by one. Each page's status code, redirects, response time, headers, meta tags, H1, content, links, images and structured data are extracted.
  3. Links and images are checked. External links, uncrawled internal links and images found on the pages (the 300 most-used targets) are requested one by one to find broken, redirected and heavy ones.
  4. The score is calculated. Each check lowers its category score in proportion to the share of pages it affects; the five categories are combined by weight into the 0–100 score.

Checks and their weights

Score formula (enarseo-teknik-v1): each category starts at 100 points; a failed check deducts its weight × the share of pages it affects. The total score is the weighted average of the category scores. Checks with a weight of “—” are informational and don't affect the score.

Frequently asked questions

How is the score calculated?

Each category starts at 100 points. When a check fails, it deducts the check's weight × the share of pages it affects (for site-wide checks the share is 1). The total score is the weighted average of the category scores: Crawling and indexing 35%, Page content 25%, Links and images 20%, Structured data 10%, Security 10%. The formula version is shown in the report, so results are comparable when you crawl the same site with the same settings.

Why a maximum of 50 pages?

The tool is free and needs no sign-up, so the crawl is limited to avoid straining both our server and the crawled site. 50 pages is usually enough to catch template issues (errors repeated across all category or product pages).

Is content generated by JavaScript crawled?

No. The HTML the server sends is evaluated, which is also the first document Googlebot receives. Having critical SEO tags (title, canonical, robots, structured data) in the raw HTML is the safest approach.

Why does a link show as “couldn't verify”?

Some sites (especially social networks) return errors to bots, and some time out or refuse the connection. These aren't counted as broken and don't affect the score; you can check them by opening them in your browser.

Are the site I crawl or the results saved?

No. Pages are requested through the Enar SEO server but not stored; the findings and score are calculated in your browser. To keep the report, use the CSV or print / PDF options.
